exercise?

I walk every morning with a friend of mine, (well actually this is a new thing) and this morning I totally stood her up. I got in late last night from some errands that I ran and then I went to my girlfriends house for a while. My husband thought It would be fine if I "got out" for a while. so anyway I got in late and I was supposed to meet her at the track at 6 am and I did a no-show. She called me and said "I got stood up this morning" and I was like -really, what happened? I completely forgot, So that was a little embarrasing as well as funny. So tomorrow I hope to actually remember and to make this a long term habit. That would be nice. I do want to be in better health. THis year I have had some heart issues. My heart has irregular heartbeats and I notice it more when I am tired. So I am hoping that exercise is what will help. At least it won't hurt. I don't want to stay on medication and I think that this might be the way to go. anyway, this is one of my goals this year. And that is to try and exercise on a regular basis. And then I can tackle my house.........................? there is always hope , I say.

Memorial Day Weekend

So our camping trip was fun!! But it didn't start out to be! The site we had reserved was soooooooooo bad. It wasn't portrayed correctly on the internet so that is one battle I have yet to fight. But we ended up staying in the KOA in Montpelier, Idaho. It ended up being fabulous. The kids went swimming and hiking, Also they had a playground and basketball half court. So there was alot to do. My family came and it was alot of fun. The nights were cold and the first night was so cold the kids were crying and fighting and we had to keep the blankets up over our faces to ward off the cold. Ian threw up all over his sleeping bag and Brock's bag the first night. So the boys shared a bag and the girls shared a bag. That is when the fighting started. Robert and I were freezing as well. SO the next morning we were going to pack up and leave, I called my brother and asked for the weather report., They said they were still coming so we said maybe we would stay and we could always go home if it got bad. But it didn't, that next morning it warmed up and stayed ok until the morning we went home. It was turning bad at that point. BUT we did have a fun time. We are happy to be home now, and the kids are starting their "summer" as school is officially out.

Sickness!!

Well, My DH is sick today. He had a bad night and I feel bad for him, but selfishly I feel bad for the family b/c I don't want anything to hinder my CAMPING weekend! How awful is that? I think that I will just hope for him to get better! My girls are having their first baseball practice tonight. I am very excited for them. They will be alot of fun to watch. I think the family will enjoy it. ANd Robert is going to help the team with practice. So It should be fun. We're starting to feel more and more busy as of late. i hope that isn't indicitive of how the next few years are going to be. Although it probably is. I think sometimes that I'm happy about that, and somedays I think of the "glory" days of boredom!

CAMPING!!!

So on Friday we are going Camping! We are very excited, it is one of those trips that is to just get away. Robert has been working like crazy, the kids have been busy with the end of the school programs and such. I just am wanting to get away with the family and have some time together. My brother and his wife and kids are coming as well as my sister and her hubby and child. SO this should be fun and my kids can't wait. They are excited. Brynlee and Jade got a new tent that they can share and they are so excited for that. As for Ian, Brock and Alexa they will be rooming in with the Robert and I. I think it will be fun and a great way to spend the Memorial Day weekend.
T-ball practice was today and it was so much fun to see Ian work so hard at baseball, as well as have fun with kids his age. It's fun to see him develope his abilities. He is such a cute boy, and very charming at that! The girls' Baseball team starts tomorrow so we will be seeing them play as well. It should be fun -for the whole family I think. Robert is off doing his visits tonight, hopefully he's not to late- as I want to watch another movie tonight!
